Plans to build 100 new homes in Nuthall village
New plans are in motion to build more than 100 new homes in Nuthall.
The proposed 15-acre Hempshill Fields development will feature a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes.
James Smith, managing director of Peveril Homes, said: “This site is an excellent location for us to develop a range of high-quality homes perfect for our purchasers to grow and create memories in.
"We’re a family owned and managed business that has been building new homes for more than 30 years.
"We have always delivered an exceptional, award-winning standard of product which has community spirit at the very core and we can’t wait to share this latest development with the residents of Nottingham.”
The development gains its name from the nearby listed Hempshill Hall and farm house.
The historic hall dates back to approximately 1497 and has undergone comprehensive refurbishment, with the farm house and associated outbuildings now renovated to provide family homes.
The nearby amenities include Hempshill Hall Primary school, as well as social, leisure and shopping facilities.
The new development is situated less than a mile from Phoenix Park’s park and ride, four miles to Nottingham’s city centre.
Work is due to begin on the new homes soon.
