The top five places people move to Broxtowe from revealed

People from Broxtowe know it is a great place to live – and it turns out thousands of other Brits agree.

More than 8,000 people moved into Broxtowe in 2019.

In fact, in the 12 months to June 2019, 8,724 people moved to Brotowe from elsewhere in the UK.

That’s according to internal migration data from the Office for National Statistics, which also reveals the areas of the country where the most people are drawn to Broxtowe from.

So where is the pull to Broxtowe the greatest?

The most common place people arrived in the area from was Nottingham, with 2,677 arrivals in the year up to June 2019.

The second highest influx was due to 830 people choosing to move from Erewash to Broxtowe.

A further 320 moved over from Ashfield, 283 from Gedling and 263 from Amber Valley.

And more than 300 people chose to move into Broxtowe borough from further afield in Birmingham, Sheffield and Leicester.
