Winners of the local elections announced for Eastwood and Kimberley

The people have spoken – here’s who has been elected in as the area’s new county council representatives.

The results are in.

Phillip Owen has once again won the Nuthall and Kimberley seat on Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) with 1,949 votes.

Runners up: Labour (1,047) Greens (149) Lib Dems (156).

Elizabeth Williamson (Independent) has won Greasley and Brinsley with 2,021 votes.

Runners up: Conservatives (1,462) Greens (172) Lib Dems (63) and Labour (484).

Williamson will replace Conservative John Handley as area representative for NCC.

Eddie Cubley (Conservative) has won the Eastwood seat with 1,387 votes.

Runners up: Labour (1,251) Lib Dems (205) Green (149).

Mr Cubley will replace Tony Harper, Conservative, as elected county council representative for Eastwood.
