Nottinghamshire’s police and crime commissioner, Paddy Tipping, gave a talk at a Kimberley Town Council meeting last week.
Mr Tipping spoke about his vision for policing i during the address at the parish hall in Newdigate Street.
He spoke about issues from victims’ rights to problems associated with drug and alcohol abuse, dangerous dogs, anti-social behaviour and domestic violence.
He said that 150 extra police officers would soon be on duty in Nottinghamshire.
Also at the monthly meeting, Lorraine Wright received two awards – one for the best kept allotment at the Millfield site and the other for the best kept allotment in Kimberley,
