Police have confirmed they will not be releasing the name of a woman who died at Ikea last week.

The store worker, thought to be in her 40s, died after collapsing early on the morning of Thursday August 8 at the Giltbrook Retail Park store.

Police confirmed shortly after she was found that there were no suspicious circumstances.

The woman was found just after 7.20am by co-workers.

First aid was administered but the woman was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.

Store manager Johann Heuren said she was ‘deeply saddened’.
