Puppy walkers urgently needed

A local guide dog association is calling on people in Eastwood and Kimberley to become volunteer puppy walkers and help them prepare puppies for lives as guide dogs.

The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association are in urgent need of volunteers to come forward, spare some time and help.

Matt Freeman, from the association, said that their puppy walkers take in dogs at around six weeks old and look after them until they are ready for formal training at 12-14 months.

Volunteers would have to introduce the puppies to everything that life can throw at them. Anyone interseted call 08453717771.
