Sainsburys In Kimberley raised over £3,000 for Comic Relief.

The store held various fundraising events to raise money for the charity last month, and have just announced its total.

Staff had their heads shaved, managers were gunged and customers all generously donated.

Store Manager Don MCcallum said: “Many of our colleagues were ready to go one step further this year. It’s been a great experience over the last few weeks and we wouldn’t have raised this much if it wasn’t for the generous donations from our customers.”

This year was the charity’s 25th anniversary.
