School praised

TEACHERS at a primary school in Nuthall are over-whelmed with their latest Ofsted inspection results.

Mornington Primary School was rated ‘good’ with an outstanding rating in many categories.

New headteacher Linda Azemia put the school’s success down to her predecessor Robert Carlyle.

“Robert and his team laid strong foundation stones,” she said.

“My aim is to continue in the same vein. He will be a hard act to follow but I’m sure we can attain more meritable successes.”

Linda used to be the deputy headteacher at Mansfield’s King Edward Primary before she took up post as headteacher in Nuthall in 2009.

She said she would do her ‘upmost to enrich the lives of pupils and teachers’.
