Leading food-on-the-go retailer Greggs has remodelled its popular shop in Kimberley, creating two new job for the area.
The shop on Greens Lane has been refurbished to give a more contemporary feel, and seats have also been installed for customers who want to eat their food inside, rather than take it away.
Shop manager Anna Taylor said: “We would like to welcome back all of our customers. We couldn’t wait to open our doors again.”
Greggs’ retail director Roisin Currie said: “We are delighted to be able to invest in Kimberley by providing customers with a modern and convenient, new-look shop.”
Two new members of staff have been taken on by Greggs at the shop, which offers a full range of savouries, as well as sandwiches and salads that are freshly prepared throughout the day.
Breakfast is being served until 11 am each day, featuring traditional classics such as bacon rolls, fresh fruits and a range of freshly ground, Fairtrade coffees.
Greggs’ new Balanced Choice range, aimed at those keen to indulge in healthy eating, includes a selection of sandwiches, salads, soups, porridge and fruit, with all items containing fewer than 400 calories.
The new-look shop’s opening times are 6.30 am to 5.30 pm on Mondays to Saturdays each week, and from 8.30 am to 5 pm every Sunday.
Established for more than 75 years, Greggs now has more than 1,760 shops across the country, serving millions of customers every week.
