CHILDREN in Brinsley did a sponsored skipathon to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
School at Brinsley Primary School did various skipping activities last Friday afternoon and raised £335 for the charity.
The kids in years one and two skipped with extra long ropes, skipped in pairs, tried out different skipping tricks and counted how many jumps they can do in 30 seconds.
“They loved it,” said teaching assistant Paula Framji.
Three children raised more than £50 and won digital skipping ropes.
