Sainsbury’s in Kimberley is collecting food for those who are struggling to eat.

The store has a trolley at the front of the store where it will collect donations from customers, and pass them on to people who are struggling to pay for food.

Staff member Angie Sheldon said: “For those less fortunate on a low income and struggling with buying food it will be going to help people in the Eastwood and Kimberley areas.”

It is being run with the help of the Kimberley Rev Barbara Holbrook.

Food items should include non-perishable products such as long life milk, bread, tins, cereals and toiletries.
