The longest serving staff members at Sainsburys in Kimberley cut the ribbon to officially open the newly extended store last week.
Debby Rutherford who has been there for 28 years cut the ribbon along with Meryl Collins, Chris Marshall and Fran Marriott have all been colleagues for 27 years.
The supermarket now boasts over 35,000sq ft of sales space, extended clothing and homeware ranges, a brand new hot food counter, new electrical goods and a customer restaurant.
The staff said they wanted to thank customers and local residents for all their patience throughout the works.
The long term members of staff have clocked up over 100 years between them.
