A charity football match is being held in Eastwood to raise money for Help for Heroes.

The match between Nottingham Forest fans and the YMCA Saturday Club will be held on Sunday, November 17 at Eastwood Town Football Club.

The event is being organised by 18-year-old George Downs, who is a Nottingham Forest fan from Eastwood.

It will be the third match he has organised for charity, and has so far raised £1,000.

“In the past we have done Forest fans against Derby fans, but I decided on the YMCA club this time because my brother plays for them,” he said. George has also organised a fourth charity match at Pride Park, Derby, next May.
