Firefighters from Eastwood were called to the A610, near Ikea, at 12.35pm today (Tuesday, May 23), after a van had overturned.
The van had crashed into a road barrier.
Around 20 litres of fuel also spilled out onto the carriageway as a result of the collision.
There were two people in the van who escaped without injury.
The crew made the scene safe before passing the scene onto Nottinghamshire Police and Nottinghamshire County Council who assisted in cleaning debris and diesel from the carriageway using a Road Sweeper vehicle and absorbent granules.
Firefighters left just after 1.30pm.
