An EASTWOOD coal miner has opened up a wildlife photography exhibition at Eastwood Library.
Anthony Kirby was inspired to buy a camera and get snapping after he took ill at work and spent his time walking around the local countryside.
Mr Kirby seriously injured his leg at Thoresby Colliery.
“I was hobbling around on crutches but I found great solace in the wildlife,” he said.
“A fallow dear would come walking past me and robins would feed out my hands.”
The exhibition runs until November 5.
