Anyone who enjoyed playing netball at school is being encouraged to stick to that new year’s promise to get active in 2016 with one of Kimberley Leisure Centre’s Back To Netball sessions.
The sessions, which take place on Thursday evenings between 9pm and 10pm in the Leisure Centre’s sports hall, are ideal for women of all ages who want a gentle re-introduction back into the sport, as well as to meet new people and socialise.
Run by a passionate and enthusiastic coach, sessions cover the basics of the game including passing, footwork and shooting before finishing with a friendly game to put those new skills into practise.
There’s no need to book, players can simply turn up on the night with the first session being free and then just £2 per session thereafter.
