Winners of three out of four matches so far, the Plums visit a Caythorpe side whose batters have been impotent over their last two losing efforts.

Plumtree on the other hand have been scoring runs for fun, so it will be interesting to see how they go on a ground where the highest total so far this season is 152.

After their win over Kimberley lifted them into second place last week, West Indian Cavaliers make the trip to bottom side Radcliffe-on-Trent looking to consolidate the position.

Radcliffe’s only win this season came at home, whilst the Cavs only loss was on their travels.

Kimberley dropped to third after their defeat, but will hope to get back on track at home to winless Clifton Village.

The Villagers have lost each of their last two matches and were thumped by 216 runs last time out so have a point to prove.

Ordsall Bridon are the perhaps surprising side in fourth place in the early standings, having used a pair of home wins to fire themselves up the table.

The bad news is they are on the road this week, paying a visit to Mansfield Hosiery Mills.

The Millers claimed a first win of the season at Caythorpe last week and will want to take the momentum from that win into this week.

Cuckney slid to fifth in the table after losing to the Academy, not the best preparation for the arrival of their local rivals, Welbeck, who took the points against Radcliffe.

Cuckney are 100 per cent at home this season, whilst Welbeck have a 100 per cent away record, a losing one.

In the day’s final match, Hucknall play host to the Notts Academy. Hucknall fell almost 100 runs short at Bridon last week, so will be keen to bounce back against the Academy, who are still enjoying last week’s upset win over Cuckney.
