Eastwood Town’s future continues to look bleak after players began to leave Coronation Park.
Following the news that HM Revenue and Customs had issued a winding up order to the Coronation Park club, the Badgers’ fixture at Loughborough Dynamo on Saturday was postponed - primarily due to no director officially being in place at the end of the week.
Since the postponement players including strikers Kieran Wells and Andy Hutchinson and goalkeeper Lewis King have found new clubs.
The Advertiser understands owner Steve Lynch is now back as a club director having initially relinquished that role.
Mr Lynch had claimed the winding up order was due to an unpaid tax bill, centred around players and staff who haven’t worked for the club for two-and-half years.
The club will have its case heard at the High Court on Monday, November 18.
The next scheduled fixture is at home to Belper Town on Saturday, November 9.
More details regarding the Badgers’ future will be published on the Advertiser website as they emerge.
