Swanwick Pentrich Road Reserves again proved too strong for their Eastwood Community counterparts after winning 6-2.
Swanwick had to be patient from the kick-off with Eastwood defending in numbers to protect goalkeeper Rhys Watkinson in the away goal.
Andy White has been in fine form this month and it was the big striker who finally broke down the sterling Eastwood defence when David Robinson’s effort was deflected in to his path.
The home side doubled their lead on 30 minutes when David Robinson finished a one on one chance.
Tim Clarke pulled one back for the visitors before half-time to keep the contest alive.
Eastwood were buoyed by their goal, but Swanwick were soon back in command when Lewis Mason celebrated his return to action with a powerful finish in to the roof of the net.
The second half was more of the same with Swanwick having an embarrassment of possession, but Eastwood looking dangerous on the break.
And the visitors pulled another goal back when veteran Matt Timson latched onto a direct ball and finished superbly over the head of Craig Rodgers in the Swanwick goal.
But, from that point, Swanwick asserted their authority and doubled their lead when Robinson was gifted his second goal.
It was 5-2 when Chris Bradley scored after strong forward play by Mark Waghorn.
The scoring was complete when Robsinson completed his hat-trick after Waghorn again caused bother.
