KIMBERLEY let slip a two-goal lead as Bass House bounced back to draw at West Park on Sunday.

The first-half was goalless, though after a scrappy start there were plenty of chances to score, Darren Barber and Reilly Marshall going close and Vaughen Crompton hitting the post with a free-kick.

Bass also had opportunities but AFC looked more likely, Gary Pickering, Marshall and James Else all nearly scoring before the break.

A minute after the re-start and AFC finally took a deserved lead when winger Christian Holmes fed Marshall who showed great control on his chest before hitting an excellent low strike into the bottom corner.

Six minutes later it was two when Crompton pulled a cross back to Marshall who again chested down and fired home.

But Bass House then came into the game and pulled a goal back after an hour, adn ten minutes later they were level after keeper Rich Kelley was beaten in a one-one-one.

There were still time for AFC to nearly snatch a winner, Lloyd Harmer in particular missing good opportunities, but the points were to be shared.

Man-of-the-match - Gary Pickering.
