Scottish Championships are fruitful for Eastwood TKD

STUDENTS from Eastwood Taekwon-do Academy have been in action at the Scottish National Championships in Motherwell.

Over 160 competitors from across the UK and Ireland took part in the event, hosted by Peter Scott 4th Dan and with Masters Michael Wood 7th Dan and James Hogan 7th Dan in attendance.

Results involving the Eastwood competitors were:

Kerry Wilson 5th Dan - Gold (Pattern), Gold (Power)

Kevan Robinson 2nd Dan - Silver (Pattern)

Craig Beardsley 2nd Kup Red Belt - Silver (Pattern), Silver (Sparring)

Adam Hill (junior) 1st Kup Red Belt - Silver (Pattern), Gold (Sparring)

Eastwood instructor Master Wood said: “I appreciate the efforts of all the competitors in giving their time to travel and compete in this championship, as well as the spectators who also came along.”
