Moorgreen Colts U14s remain unbeaten in the league after a 2-1 win over Glapwell in which they had to battle all the way through.

Man-0f-the-match James Bentley put Moorgreen ahead just before half-time with a superb lob over the goalkeeper, and that was how the game stayed until ten minutes into the second-half when Glapwell levelled the scores having started well.

That in turn woke Moorgreen up and they won the game five minutes from the end when Tyler Slater unleashed an unstoppable 25-yard volley into the net to claim all three points.

The U13s were in devastating form as they crushed Holy Spirit 13-1.

Justin Holmes and man-of-the-match Sam Bulgin scored four goals each while there were braces for Bradley Holmes and Jack Birch, Callum Clarke also on target.

The U11s were defeated 3-2 by Hucknall Sports, man-of-the-match Cian Sheridan scoring both of their goals, while the U10 Whites lost 2-0 at home to Beeston Park Rangers with Harrison Oakland the man-of-the-match.

The U10 Blues won 4-1 at home against Underwood Villa Red, with man-of-the-match Kai Palmer, Tom Hilton, Ethan Wing and Billy Butler getting the goals.

There wasn’t such good news for the U9s though as they lost 4-1 to DNF in a top-of-the-table clash, Cianan O’Kane scoring the goal.

The U8 Blues and Whites both had excellent games, the Blues’ man-of-the-match being Ethan Fordham while the Whites’ was shared between Aiden Appleby and Noah George.

John Skevington’s U7s were also in good form with Daniel Collins earning the man-of-the-match accolade.
