Classic opera is up on the big screen

a FREE BP Summer Big Screen performance of The Royal Opera’s Cinderella will be beamed live from Covent Garden to locations up and down the country on Wednesday, July 13.

Among the venues to benefit from this operatic treat is Derby’s Market Place, with the action starting at 7.30pm, on the big screen.

Whether you’re new to opera or already a devotee, the BP Summer Big Screen relays offer an exciting opportunity to enjoy the very best from the Royal Opera House in a unique setting. The screenings will include exclusive backstage footage, live audience interaction and the chance to win tickets to The Royal Ballet’s The Nutcracker next season with a night for two at The Mayfair Hotel, London.
