popular tribute band The Smyths will bring their homage to the music of Morrissey and Marr to The Flowerpot in Derby on Friday, May 4.
The band will shine the spotlight on the considerable and hugely acclaimed back catalogue of The Smiths, including This Charming Man and How Soon Is Now.
On Saturday, May 5, the King Street venue welcomes Larry Garner with the Norman Beaker Band for an evening of blues.
After a stint in the army, Larry Garner was working in the world of chemicals when he tried his hand at playing in 1970s Louisiana and he’s never looked back since then, wowing audiences in his homeland and beyond.
Woolley and Archer are back for their latest appearance at the venue’s free Acoustic Wednesdays gigs, in the bar from 9pm on Wednesday, May 9.
Finally, on Thursday, May 10, Curved Air are the honoured guests.
The pioneering progressive rockers were formed in 1970 and are still going strong, over 40 years on, with a strong reputation for artistic merit and highly engaging and innovative music.
Doors open at 8pm and admission is £9 for The Smyths, £12 for Larry Garner and £15 for Curved Air.
