Troubadour’s Toolkit is an event taking place at Derby’s Guildhall Theatre this week.
This will feature brand-new two-day workshops from PAD Productions, exploring the arts and developing theatre skills in a relaxed, accessible environment.
Are you interested in the arts but not really sure if any of them are for you?
Come along to the Guildhall Theatre and try out different art forms; drama, music, dance and storytelling and improve your skills and confidence.
No experience is necessary and will be fully accessible for deaf and disabled participants.
It takes place on Monday, August 10 – Tuesday, August 11, from 9am – 5pm, suitable for ages 8-11 (British Sign Language interpreted), and Wednesday, August 12 – Thursday, August 13, 9am – 5pm (suitable for ages 12 -16). It is also Sign Language interpreted.
The cost is £32. Call the box office at the venue on 01332 255800.
n Comedian James Acaster is coming to Derby’s Guildhall Theatre later this year.
Running his mouth off about a bunch of stuff nobody even cares about, James is nifty, snazzy, 30 years old, and doing his best to improve his imposture.
As seen on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Russell Howard’s Good News, and as heard on James Acaster’s Findings (Radio 4) and The Josh Widdicombe Show (XFM), James is at the Guildhall on Saturday, October 17, from 8pm.
