New dates for Derby LIVE shows

Derby LIVE has managed to reschedule some of the shows that had their original dates cancelled following the Assembly Rooms car park fire.

The venue is closed until May 11, following the fire in the power room at the top of the venue’s multi-storey car park.

The following shows have been rescheduled and the Derby LIVE box office team are contacting customers. (Should customers be unable to make the new date they will be offered a full refund)

March 18-20 - Sarah Millican (rescheduled to May 26-28)

March 21 - An Evening of Burlesque (rescheduled to September 13)

March 22 - Paul Carrack (rescheduled to July 18)

March 25-29 - New Jersey Nights (rescheduled to July 1-5)

March 29 - An Evening with Michael Dodd (moved to Allestree Woodlands School - same date and time, original tickets are still valid)

April 7-12 - Buddy - the Buddy Holly Story (rescheduled to August 18-23)

April 19 - Monsters of Mock (rescheduled to November 8)

May 3 - Jane McDonald (rescheduled to October 12)

May 4 - Championship Boxing (rescheduled to June 1)

May 11 Evolution - StarSteppers (rescheduled to June 29)

Unfortunately, Derby LIVE have been unable to reschedule the following shows in the near future and therefore these have been fully cancelled. Customers will be contacted and issued with a full refund.

March 21 - Julian Joseph Trio; March 22 - Interrobang; March 23 - Derbyshire Music Education Hub’s Celebration Concert; March 24 - Tea Dance; March 31 - Tea Dance; April 7 - Tea Dance; April 26-27 Aliens Love Underpants; April 28- Tea Dance; May 10 Interrobang

A spokesman for the venue added: “As soon as we know whether the show(s) you have tickets for will be rescheduled or not, we’ll get in contact with ticketholders again to advise you of the new date and offer an exchange to that date or a refund.”

“We’re very sorry for the inconvenience, thank you in advance for your patience and understanding at this difficult time.

“All other scheduled Derby LIVE events in the Guildhall Theatre, on the Market Place and other outdoor spaces, will go ahead as planned.”
