Cromford Mills is to host 101 Legendary Whiskies, a book talk and whisky tasting evening with author and whisky aficionado Ian Buxton on Thursday from, 7pm-8.30pm.
Join Ian for an evening of whisky, wit and wisdom.
Explore lost, luxurious, living and legendary whiskies – extraordinarily hard to find, absurdly expensive, ridiculously rare and even a few household names, all with their own unique stories. The talk will be accompanied by several whisky tastings. Ian will also be signing copies of his books following the talk.
Ian Buxton has been marketing director of a world-famous single malt, consultant to more distilleries than most folks have had drams, built several award winning visitor centres, written a variety of articles and books, and – apparently without noticing – bought a derelict distillery.
101 Legendary Whiskies will take place in the Gothic Warehouse at Cromford Mills. Tickets cost £20 (includes whisky tasting).
Drivers’ tickets are available for those who are driving and cost just £10 (excludes whisky tasting).
Advance booking is essential as places are limited. To book, please phone Cromford Mills on 01629 823256 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
