To celebrate the phenomenal success of Jonny Owen’s acclaimed documentary film, I Believe in Miracles, Brian Clough’s legendary Miracle Men will be coming together on stage at the Royal Concert Hall Nottingham on Friday April 22, to re-live the golden era when Nottingham Forest were Kings of Europe.
For the first time since the team’s triumphant victory over Malmo in the European Cup Final in 1979, sixteen former Forest players will be live on stage together recounting stories of their days at the City Ground under the leadership of Brian Clough and Peter Taylor.
Larry Lloyd, Colin Barrett, Viv Anderson, Garry Birtles, Trevor Francis, Frank Clark, Peter Shilton, Archie Gemmill, Kenny Burns, Tony Woodcock, John Robertson, Ian Bowyer, John McGovern, John O’Hare, Gary Mills and Martin O’Neill are all confirmed to appear. (Line up is subject to change).
The show will commence at 7pm with a short film entitled City of Miracles: Stories from the Crowd, a two screen audio visual celebration of Nottingham Forest’s unique European Cup wins as seen by the fans.
City of Miracles includes film and photography of matches, the fans’ stories, footage of Nottingham in the 1970s including Goose Fair and the Raleigh factory, a sound track of crucial commentary and the roar of the crowd.
Tickets are priced at £25, £22.50 and £20 with exclusive £65 VIP packages available including show ticket, pre- and post- show meet and greet events with the players plus two drinks vouchers. There will also be an opportunity to have a photograph with the players and the European Cup at an additional cost – details available on the night.
