In the week to February 5, 346.7 people per 100,000 of population tested positive for Covid-19, an increase of 1 per cent on the previous week.
Other areas of Nottighamshire were not far behind with Nottingham itself 14th on the overall list and Ashfield registering 309.6 cases per 100,000 of population, althogh this was a 20 per decrease on seven days previously.

Hide AdThe East Midlands currently is the second worst region for new coronavirus cases with 259.6 positive tests per 100,000 population, slightly above the North West but below the West Midlands.
The average for England stands at 200.5 positive tests per 100,000 people, a decrease on 25 per cent over the last seven days.
On Tuesday, it was announced that 1,052 more people had died from coronavirus, while more than 12,000 had tested positive.
