Attempted break-in at Morton post office
Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted break-in at a post office in the village of Morton, near Alfreton.
Three men were seen trying to force open the door at the Main Road post office, at about 1am on Friday, July 10.
However, the men fled empty-handed in a small, blue vehicle a short time later.

Hide AdPolice investigating the offence want to hear from anyone who may know the people responsible.
They also want to hear from anyone who saw people acting suspiciously, or any suspicious vehicles, in the area.
Witnesses or anyone with information should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting crime reference 29017/15.
