Firefighters called to rubbish blaze in Mansfield park

A crew from Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service’s Mansfield fire station was called to Carr Bank Memorial Park, on Windmill Lane.

A service spokesman said “an amount of rubbish” was alight.

The spokesman said Nottinghamshire Police had been informed, “due to children in the area setting fires”, following the incident on February 24, at about 5.15pm.
