Firefighters tackle house fire in Mansfield Woodhouse

Crews from Mansfield and Ashfield were called to extinguish the fire in the kitchen of the house on York Street at 12.34am.

A man was led to safety during the operation, in which a hosereel jet two breathing apparatus and a positive ventilation were used.

The incident was closed at 12.51am
