Grass fire in Shirebrook
Firefighters from Shirebrook were called to a grass fire yesterday (Saturday, April 7).
The crew attended the scene off Station Road, Shirebrook, at around 3.20pm.
The fire involved approximately 20 square metres of grass and undergrowth alight in a wooded area.
They used water backpacks and beaters to extinguish the fire.
