UPDATE: Jack-knifed caravan closes lanes on M1

Two lanes of the northbound M1 have been closed after a caravan jack-knifed.

The accident happened a short time ago between junctions 28 (Alfreton) and 29 (Chesterfield).

The incident is already causing lengthy tailbacks and drivers are being advised to expect delays.

Recovery work is currently ongoing and it is hoped traffic will be moving again shortly.
