WEATHER WARNING: Strong winds continue to batter area
A Met Office weather warning for strong winds continues to be in place throughout the day on Tuesday.
The wind will become northwesterly, and although easing for a time, it will become very gusty through the day, particularly close to showers.
The Met Office says people should be aware of the risk of localised damage from these winds and for minor disruption to travel.
