IF Mansfield Town are to achieve their promotion dream through the play-offs, then they are going to have defy history as well as Newport County and either Forest Green Rovers or Tranmere Rovers.

That is the challenge that faces the Stags ahead of their play-off semi-final – with the away leg on Thursday (7.45pm) and the return home leg on Sunday (6pm).
