County’s freaky Halloween fortnight

This Halloween Nottinghamshire invites you to experience its dark side as the county opens the doors to its most haunted buildings and reveals its darkest secrets.

Thrill-seekers can visit Wollaton Hall, Nottingham Castle, Sherwood Forest and Newstead Abbey after dark for a terrifying Ghost Hunt and explore Nottingham’s old courthouse and gaol.

While Mayhem Film Festival at Nottingham’s Broadway Cinema brings ten days of activities and two new programmes dedicated to horror, cult cinema and sci-fi.
