Print and packaging firm 3P Direct has been given planning approval to extend its existing site on Millennium Business Park, where it has been based since 2004 when it was founded by co- founders, Richard Tyler and Paul Wright, who remain at the helm of the business and in charge of running the company.

Over the past 16 years, the company has grown into a specialist print and packaging firm supplying a wide range of sectors.

Ongoing investment and considerable expertise in both print and packaging divisions means customers benefit by working with one technology focused company.

Today, 3P Direct supplies more than 10,000 print and packaging related products via three websites.

This latest extension will see storage space doubled for the company, creating room for a greater manufacturing capacity, leading to the creation of a number of new jobs to boost the local economy. As part of this expansion, the Mansfield firm has updated its branding to boost its already considerable online presence.

The business is one of the largest packaging merchants in the East Midlands, with its lorries delivering north and south, from Leeds to Milton Keynes.

In addition, it offers the latest cut-off time in the UK for packaging materials, all of which can be delivered nationwide and ordered via its popular online store, UKPackaging.com. The company also recently launched a new site, UKPrinting.com with many of its larger customers purchasing both print and packaging products. Richard Tyler, director and one of the co-founders, said, “We are delighted that we’ve been given planning approval to extend the factory.

“It’s already a large site, but this will put us in a great position now for the years to come.

“It means more local jobs, and we can build on our local offering whilst also developing our national sales via our two websites.”
