Tom Darby – a PE specialist at Mapplewells, which is a member school of the Flying High Trust – said the school is committed to encouraging schools to take part in a wide variety of sports.
“With so many challenges facing PE and sport in schools, we have worked hard to share advice, provide support and offer numerous opportunities,” he said.
"This has enabled schools, including Mapplewells, to maintain an engaging and progressive PE curriculum. Our partner schools have adapted extremely well, and we have all learned so much.”

“Our ultimate aim is to offer our pupils the very best opportunities and for their love of being active to be embedded with them for life,” he said.
"Now, more than ever, sport and physical activity is key for pupil, and staff well-being. ‘Together we are stronger’ certainly rings true and a big thank you to the schools embracing togetherness this year.”
Oli Tatterson, PE lead at Leamington Primary & Nursery Academy, and said the support his school has received has been invaluable.
