Coronavirus in Nottinghamshire: How many confirmed cases of Covid-19 are there and how many people have died from disease?

The confirmed COVID-19 case rate stands at 336 in Nottinghamshire and continues to rise.

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs King’s Mill Hospital, Newark Hospital and Mansfield Community Hospital, announced that 25 people who test positive for COVID-19 have died at the sites so far.

The city of Nottingham, which is classed as a separate area to the county as a whole, has 161 confirmed cases.

Across the entirety of the UK, 38,168 have tested positive for COVID-19. A total of 3,605 people who tested positive have died- an increase of 684 in a single day.

The figures were released by Public Health England today as part of their daily update- and show that Nottinghamshire is the 24th worst-affected UK location for the disease.
