No hospital coronavirus deaths in Mansfield for third day

Since the pandemic hit 122 people under the trust’s care who tested positive for coronavirus have died. The trust runs King’s Mill Hospital and Mansfield Community Hospital.
There have been 133 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Mansfield as of 4pm on Monday, 15 June – the latest available data.

Hide AdAcross the UK, England reported 79 new deaths on Tuesday, 16 June, while a further eight fatalities were announced in Wales, five in Scotland and one in Northern Ireland.
On Monday the government announced the UK’s confirmed death toll across all settings had risen to 41,736.
March 4 was the last time the UK recorded zero coronavirus fatalities. Non-essential retail shops were allowed to reopen in England yesterday, with pubs, bars and restaurants potentially allowed to reopen on 4 July.
