Breaking news: Elderly woman rescued from car after Hucknall crash
An elderly woman had to be cut free after she was trapped in a car involved in a smash on the Hucknall bypass.
A Ford Ka and a Huyundai car were in collision on the bypass at Hucknall on Sunday at 11.57am, one of them leaving the road.
Firecrews from Hucknall and Stockhill and a specialist rescue team were called to the incident 500m from the junction with the A611.
A woman cut free from the Ford Ka was taken to hospital by East Midland Ambulance service. Her injuries are not though to be life threatening.
