Christmas present crime warning
Police are warning residents to take extra care in the run-up to Christmas following an increase in break-ins over the seven days to Thursday, December 10.
Jewellery was stolen from a house on Forest Close, Annesley Woodhouse, when thieves used a ladder to gain entry to a rear bedroom sometime between 3.20pm and 8.20pm on Friday December 4.

Hide AdTwo television sets were stolen from a house Chatsworth Drive, Hucknall, sometime between 4pm on Saturday December 5 and 11.50pm on Monday 7.
The house was entered when thieves removed the glass from a window.
A ceiling mounted projector was stolen from Edgewood Primary School, Edgewood Drive, Hucknall, when thieves forced a ground floor window open.
The burglary took place between 7pm on Wednesday December 2 and 6.30am Thursday 3.

Hide AdBetween 10am on Saturday 5 and 9am on Monday 7 December in Ascot Drive, Hucknall a garage door was forced open, some cricket gear and power hand tools were stolen.
Between 5pm and 7.20pm on Friday 4 December in Sandfield Road, Annesley Woodhouse the rear bedroom of a bungalow was forced open to gain entry. The room was searched but nothing was stolen.
The rear patio doors of a house were forced open and an untidy search was made but nothing was stolen from a home on Forest Close, Annesley Woodhouse, sometime between 2.30pm and 9.15pm on the same day.
