A man has been arrested following a stabbing in Nottingham

Nottinghamshire Police Officers were called to an address in Forest Road East just after 3.45am, Saturday, 18 July, where a man had been stabbed.
Police were quick to arrive on the scene and an 18-year-old man was taken to hospital after suffering injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.

Hide AdNottinghamshire Police would like to make it clear that it is never acceptable to carry or use a weapon.
Detective Sergeant, Jon Kerry, who is investigating the incident, said: “I understand the concerns that incidents such as this can cause in the community. I would like to reassure people that officers responded within minutes to ensure that there was no risk to the wider public.
“It’s never acceptable to carry or use a weapon and we will continue our tireless efforts to tackle knife crime in our city.”
