Reegan Allsop, of Brierley Road, Sutton, has been given a 14-day suspended prison sentence for breaching the order.

The 23-year-old was subject to an Injunction Order granted by Mansfield County Court on August 12 2020 due to persistent anti-social behaviour at his partner’s property.

Neighbours had reported ongoing issues of noise nuisance on a daily basis with shouting, screaming, foul language and banging taking place at his partners property on Lindley Street, Selston.

Allsop breached the injunction order by visiting his partner’s property on three occasions between September 20 and 22 2020, which he was not permitted to do as part of the injunction order.

Whilst there he continued to cause further nuisance and distress to neighbours.

Following the breaches of the Injunction Order, Ashfield District Council pursued court action and Allsop appeared at Mansfield County Court on September 23, where he received a 14 day suspended sentence, suspended for six months.

The Injunction Order remains in place and the council’s Anti-social Behaviour team will continue to work to ensure there is no further nuisance caused to neighbours.

Councillor Helen-Ann Smith, cabinet member for community safety said: “This conviction shows that we will not tolerate anti-social behaviour from any residents.

"Reegan Allsop thought he could get away with breaching his injunction, and has instead received a suspended sentence.

"We will not tolerate one person making their neighbours lives a misery.”
