Ashfield man spared prison for harassing former partner by visiting her home

Daniel John Calladine attended the property in Lime Avenue, Sutton, following a conviction for domestic violence against the occupant at a hearing on July 15, where he was banned from making contact with the occupant.
Records from Nottingham Magistrates’ Court show that Calladine, 30, of no fixed address, turned up at the property, and also made phone calls and sent text messages to the occupant between July 19 and 22, just days after the restraining order had been imposed.

Hide AdHe admitted breaching the order, as well as possession of a cannabis substance when he appeared before Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on July 31.
He was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £128 victim surcharge.
