Mansfield teen jailed for booze raids

A Mansfield teen who stole booze from a branch of Morrisons in Newark has been jailed for 20 weeks.

Jake Hobson stole £10 of lager on November 12, £30 of sherry, on November 26, and two bottles of Desperado lager, on December 12.

He also took seven cases of beer worth a total of £91, on December 3, 4, and 7.

Hobson, 19, of Chesterfield Road South, Pleasley, admitted the thefts on April 22.

Nottingham magistrates ordered him to pay £122 costs.
