More than 40 bags of Class A drugs recovered after police arrest Mansfield man

Officers obtained an imitation gun, over 40 bags of drugs, cash, weighing scales and mobile phones following an investigation into a house on Cavendish Street, after they received reports of suspicious activity at the property.
Police arrested a 31-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of an imitation firearm.

Hide AdPolice Sergeant Andrew Doran said: “Drug offences are incredibly serious and we thoroughly investigate all reports made to Nottinghamshire Police.
“This arrest is a fine example of how we work closely with our communities to take proactive action against those who commit drug related crime.
“The man has been released under investigation in connection with the incident.”
