Hide AdPC Pete Gardiner, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “People in this area are telling us they are concerned about drug related crime and we are listening.
"On Saturday and Sunday members of the local Mansfield North beat team conducted patrols around the Forest Town estates – paying especially close attention to the alleyways and passageways.
“Drug-related crime blights communities and can also have a very significant impact on vulnerable young people. We’ll never accepts drug use and drug dealing on our streets and will be continuing these very visible patrols throughout the coming weeks.”
Anyone who is concerned about drug crime in their neighbourhood should contact Nottinghamshire Police on the non-emergency number, 101.
