Sutton charity box burglar banged up

A Sutton burglar who took charity boxes from a pub has been jailed.

Gavin Beades entered the Fox and Crown pub and stole four charity boxes containing approximately £100 of donations, on February 23.

Beades, 38, of Collins Avenue, admitted the offence which put him in breach of a suspended sentence imposed in September last year.

Nottingham magistrates jailed him for 24 weeks and ordered £175 of compensation when he appeared in court on April 9.
